frances willow is an alternative/indie producer and singer. She is one of many artists challenging the conventional parameters of her genre, and uses a variety of electronic and acoustic sounds within her set, and experiments with new age electronic hardware blended with a classic band set up to create her sound. Her music has an eclectic mix of strong narratives and highly metaphorical poetry, telling a story from start to finish and channelling a varied array of emotions from dark and intense to sweet and optimistic.︎ ︎ ︎ ︎

With Guitars: “Four and a half minutes of subtly shifting textures, icy electronics and understated guitar, there’s echoes of artists such as Frou Frou or Imogen Heap at play within the composition, making something that feels familiar, but also utterly contemporary.”

Listen with Monger: “Delicate, rippling guitar notes join in and there are elements of Zero 7 and Lemon Jelly in the melodies with hints of Sophie Ellis-Bexter, Seaker and Zoe Johnston in the vocals. It's a sublime blend and one hell of an introduction to an artist who I, for one, will be keeping an eye on.”
